I too have a similar problem as stated above. I bought a Newport Plum tree planted it in the ground and for the first month we had high winds that I thought would blow the tree over, but it looked fine after it all slowed down. Now at 2 months later the tree has lost all its leaves and looks dead, there are a few plums that are hanging on the tree and a few, very sparse, new leaves that have started to grow is this normal or is my tree dead/dying?
