: Hi there,

: We have a lovely plum tree in our back yard hovering over our back deck in Maryland.  Unfortunately, we've had a huge amount of beetles just eat the leaves to a skeleton.  It was so bad we couldn't sit on the deck.  I'm looking into control for these beetles and have learned that one method is controlling their larve (grubs).  I'm just not sure what type of beetle it is and what would work best on it.  The beetles are that irredescent green color and otherwise, mostly black.  Any assistance is appreciated.
