weeping willow

I have a weeping willow that is slightly over one year old (since planting). I noticed brown spots on the leaves and seems like now the leaves are coming off too soon for the fall season(starting to look thin). I see in another message that I may be watering too much? Could this cause the problem. It has grown well so far. Any advice appreciated.
