I recieved a gorgeous 4 foot hibiscus tree for Mothers Day last year. I repotted it, it was so crammed in the original pot. Once I did that, it went nuts...it has 5 or more blooms on it every day! I have it outside on my patio right now. My concern is this winter...in Michigan they can be brutal. Can I just cover the tree up with plastic bags and put it in a corner of the patio that is bit sheltered? Or put it in the garage for the winter? Covered? If I have to put it in my condo, it's going to be in a tight spot, and never recieve full sun for the winter...My condo faces East but no full sun in any room. So, anybody who can garden, or take care of what I call Tropical plants...can you help me? I prefer the first 2 treatments instead of my house... only because of lack of space...any clues???
