We have had banana trees for years and each year we dug them up and placed them in our crawl space and they always do wonderful when we plant them the next year. I want to know, once they get so tall, because we have some that are close 20 feet tall, is it best to cut them back to try a fresh start or leave the height on them and keep going from there? Everyone who has seen our banana trees say they have never seen trees that big and beautiful in the state of Ga., but I water everyday and I fertilize once a week. I work hard to them beautiful. This year 5 of trees have bananas on them. Thanks, Donna&Joe
