Ann,

If the plant was exposed to frost and suffered cold damage, then there isn't anything that can be done to "revive" the tree. The only way to help the tree, if it is still alive is to prevent frost from hitting the tree by protecting it with burlap if that is possible. If parts of the tree are damaged, you'd want to prune them off and probably want to get more specific information about banana tree pruning because I have no experience with mature banana's.
