: A friend lives in Florida and during a recent visit she gave me some roots to her huge split leaf philodendron. What do I do with them? How do I get it to grow.
: I live in zone 5 and would love to grow this plant. I have plent of room to move it in during the winter.
: I just dont know what to do with the roots that i have.

: Thanks for your help.

Hi Steve,

I don't know if your roots are still alive after all this time, but it's worth a try. Just put them in some moist potting soil in a pot and water when the top inch of the soil dries. Keep in a bright spot out of direct sunlight.

Good luck,
Newt
