Hibiscus Tree overgrowing pot

I have a 4 year old Hibuscus Tree and it is outgrowing the barrel that it is planted in (it's 7 feet tall now). Do you have any idea what else I could plant it in and still be able to move it outdoors in the Spring and indoors in the fall? I can see it's roots at the top of the soil and I would hate for anything to happen to this beauty. (I'm in the Chicagoland area, so planting outside seems to be out of the question).
