: My roses have little white spots on them. I don't know how to get rid of them and I don't know if that's causing them not to be as healthy. This is likely mildew. The mildew is caused by a fungus that infects the roses. Environment plays a major role in powdery mildew development. The disease occurs during cloudy, humid conditions when days are warm and nights are cool. A special fungicide, like Ortho's Funginex, will alleviate your problem. It is recommended to spray the plant every 7-10 days until the powdery mildew is subsided.
