I'd say that it's either a passion vine or a clematis; I'll post a pic of the former.

: I have pictures of a beautiful tropical-looking plant with huge beautiful purple blooms, that I need help in identifying, please! It grows in Southern Indiana and is blooming now, but only lasts a few days. It multiplies and grows best in the more shady areas. The leaves on it grow in a semi-circle of five leaves, the stem is speckled and has layers like petals, the blooms are about 2 ft. long in total w/seed pod at bottom of the bloom. Please help, I'm dying to know what this is. Thanks for any info.
