Question about my Hibiscus

Well after reading what you have all written, I guess my question is rather stupid. My daughter bought a beautiful Hibiscus tree. She took it out of the pot and planted it adoringly in her garden. It is growing beautifully, one problem, we live in Chicago, where the winter temps can be extremely cold....can I take it back out of the ground and bring in for winter...or can I make a greenhouse to surround it for the winter? Help....please! ;)
