When I was a kid I got a case of poison ivy. My babysitter had a plant in her backyard which when broken open, oozed an orange liquid. Rubbing this on the rash daily got rid of rash in a couple days. This was in central Pennsylvania. I recently found some in my aunt's backyard near State College, PA. It is a slender plant about 2-3 feet high. It has a yellow flower. The seed pods were like small green beans about 1-1/2 inch long. They weren't developed yet, so I didn't gather seeds.
