Tomatos not getting Ripe

My tomato plants are over 5 feet tall. They are huge, bushy and loaded with tomatos. They have been this way for about a month. Why are they not turning ripe? I live in Denver which is a dry climate. They have full sun all day. I water them a lot. I've cut back hoping this would help, but that hasn't. Somebody please help. It's August and I havn't eatin one. HELP??
