Blight??

Tomato leaves have mildew; turn yellow and die--plants almost nude of leaves. New blossoms die also. I have a dozen beautiful Heirloom tomato plants that produced nice big tomatos from the first blossom set(2nd year from seeds I saved. What causes this problem and what can I do about it.
