: Ive heard people mention "sucker leaves". If I pinch or eliminate these leaves that it will give me betterand more tomatoes? can anyone give me info on how to identify these leaves and the proper way to pinch or eliminate them! THANKS!!!!!!!!!
Leave(no pun intended) them alone. the more leaves, the more photosynthesis occurs and the better the shade to cover ripening fruit. even if you started pinching out the so-called sucker leaves, you wouldn't keep up with it. i know from experience. there's lots of required stuff to do in the garden, you'll have extra time now that you're not suckering. good luck
