: I live in the Massachusetts area and my zuke plants have been doing fine and have produced a few good solid sized zukes. The plants seem like they are in good shape with no visible pest damage but the new smaller zukes 6" to 8"long are getting spongy and soft.
: Any help would be helpful.

Hi brian, I have the same problem here in Connecticut, last year and this year too. I see no one is responding to this, but I have sent an Email onto this some gardening expert's and will see what they say, since no one here is responding to it. If you like, you can send me your addy and when I get the response we are looking for, i can forward the findings to you also. My address is [email protected] If you find out also, or already have an answer, please forward it to me, Thanks.............Rich
