Hi Mary,

I agree with Tom that your tree could be raised in a planter, but I do have some concerns as well. You don't say your hardiness zone, so I'm wondering if you plan on having it stay out for the winter. Also, this tree is going to get VERY large someday. That's probably why Tom suggested the bonsai thing.

So, if you are planning on wintering this outside, what is your hardiness zone?
