Hi Patrick,

You can add the coffee grounds and the filter (especially if it's the unbleached paper type) directly to the planting bed and mix in or to the compost pile. Lots of people go to places like Starbucks and get their grounds to add to the compost pile. They often call themselves 'compost wackos'. You can also add banana peels too! :) Here's a link you might find informative.
