: hi newt! thanks so much for your response. to answer your question, i'm moving from new york to los angeles. i'm shipping my furniture, etc. via trucking company, which should take up to 2 weeks (so sending my plants isn't an option). this move will take place within the next 3 weeks. however, i can ship the plants a bit later, if necessary.

Hi Heather,
You will not be able to bring your plants to California. You might not be able to even if you get a phytosanitary certificate for them and ship them bare-root.

California has had too many invasive and destructive pest bugs introduced. And your close to the reported sites of Asian Staghorn Beetle.

You can expect to need to start over. Sorry :-(

Tom C
