: I would like to plant creeping thyme seeds [or another steppable ground cover] in my parking strip. Can I just sow the seeds right into the clean soil in the parking strip? Or do I have to grow them in little pots and then transplant all of them. I have 500 sqft to plant, so I would go nuts transplanting them! I live in Zone 7 and I plan on doing this in June.
