I want to get rid of wild raspberries

I'm not much of a gardener, and I've ignored the raspberries thus far, but now they've INVADED MY APARAGUS PATCH! How can I eliminate them permanently? I live in the Northern Adirondacks. I have a few asparagus spears poking up now. Help!
