Two years ago I planted several shrubs that appealed to me at the garden store. They grew beautifully but they die back in the winter. I didn't do anything to them last year and they returned bigger than ever. This year I cut them back in early spring because they looked completely dead. Now I think I may have killed them because they don't show any signs of reviving. They are a light blueish green foliage, very soft, smell like basil when you rub the leaves. They grew about 2 ft high and 3 ft wide. Help! What do I have and what have I done to them!
