Tania -
Depending on where the fungus is (located next to any tender plants, etc) you could try applying some household bleach to them. While it won't permanently kill them, it does get rid of them for a while and it's cheap. I have a similar problem and luckily they're not near anything so I can do this.

: I recently discovered this strange, I would suppose, fungus in my landscaping. I have never seen anything like it. There is quite a bit of it. It looks like a cup or bowl with the rim sunken in on the inside. It nestles very close to the ground and is in clusters. The color is that of a rubber band, a light grayish tan and somewhat transparent, the texture is sort of rubbery. It is multiplying all over the place. I would appreciate any information on what this could be.
