Hi Susie,
There are African diasies botanically known as Dimorphotheca sinuata and African mums but you will need to look under African chrysanthemum. I did a search at google and only got info for the insecticide that comes from the African mum. Here's a picture of the African daisy. Is this your flower?

The two plants are very similar. I can't find a source for the African mum on google.
