: : My friend has some african mums in her pots that are beautiful. They look like a daisy but her garden shop said they are really mums. Can't find any info on them anywere. She thinks they are annuals in zone 5.
: : would like to purchuse some but need info on them also.

: Hi Susie,
: There are African diasies botanically known as Dimorphotheca sinuata and African mums but you will need to look under African chrysanthemum. I did a search at google and only got info for the insecticide that comes from the African mum. Here's a picture of the African daisy. Is this your flower?

: Not a great picture, but here's the African mum in white.

: The two plants are very similar. I can't find a source for the African mum on google.

: Hope this helped,
: Newt
The play does look very much like that, tho her colors wer'e very different and the plants seem to be atleast 18" tall instead of 12". The info did however give me info I may be able to use. THANKS
