: Hello,
: I am new to this site and to gardening. I need some advice.
: There seems to be a white film on the leaves of my Lilac's. Is there anything natural I can use to get rid of it? I live in New Hampshire and we have been having humid and wet contions here.
: Thanks in advance for your help,
: Nancy

Hi Nancy,
Your lilac has powdery mildew. They tend to be prone to this fungus and the weather has a lot to do with it. I don't treat mine, but removal of the fallen leaves in the fall will help. You can also treat them with a fungicide.
