Dahlia
( Bright Star Dahlia )
| Vigorous, fast growing, available in numerous flower types. This small-flowered incurved cactus dahlia is an outstanding addition to the flower border or container garden. An old fashioned favorite and superb cut flower, the tangerine blooms are 4-6 inches in diameter. The striking "elbows" make this a distinct addition. Leaves are rich green to purplish green, and to 12 inches long. Bulbs must be lifted from the ground in zones 7 and lower. Plant dahlia tubers once soil has warmed and there is little chance of frost. |
| Important Info : As with any perennial, good bed preparation pays off. |
