| The roots are fleshy and thick. Leaves bluish-green, lance to lance-ovate shaped, to 3 inches in length. Flowers in panicles similar to cymes, white with pink flush, cup-shaped, to 2 inches wide. Grows to 8 inches tall and 6 inches wide. Up to 250 species of this tuber or fiberous rooted perennial, but really only 2 widely available. |
