| Fibrous rooted, short-lived perennial that is sometimes evergreen. Leaves are basal, dark green, shiny, palmately lobed, kidney-shaped, crenate, to 2 inches in length. Flowers are single to 2 to 3 clustered, cup-shaped, white, up to 3/4 of an inch wide. Plant grows to 4 inches tall and wide. Up to 250 species of this tuber or fiberous rooted perennial, but really only 2 widely available. |
