| The Golden Splendor Group are vigorous, variable lilies. Strong, sturdy stems bear umbels of large, scented, outward-facing, shallowly trumpet-shaped, in shades of yellow with dark burgundy-red bands outside. This is a showy plant for planting in the shrubbery or herbaceous border.
Deadhead spent flowers, but wait until stems and leaves turn yellow to cut back to within a few inches of the ground. Spring and fall are the best time to transplant, even though they can be transplanted any time. Provide ample moisture while flowering, but can take periods of drought otherwise. |
