| This is an evergreen perennial with roundly oval, white-spotted leaves up to 11 inches long. It has a clump forming growth habit and is rhizomatous. Late winter to late spring flowers are red-violet and funnel shaped. Sometimes flowers are white. Stem leaves are nearly as large as base leaves. Nice with spring flowering bulbs, rhododendron, azaleas and ferns. Divide every 3 to 5 years. Remove old leaves after flowering. |
