| Abies concolor is a slow to medium growing fir with blue-green leaves pointing upward and forward along the shoot. The 3- to 5-inch cones are greenish-purple when young, turning brown. Reaches heights up to 130 feet. 'Fagerhult' is a slow growing cultivar that is pyramidal in shape and light blue in color. It has flat, blunt needles and tiered, slightly weeping branches. This plant enjoys plenty of sun, cooler climates and acidic soil. |
