| This plant grows as an epiphyte on a variety of surfaces such as on trees, forest floor, rocks, between 2,250-3,000 feet above sea-level. When in bloom this large plant can reach 3 feet tall and has gray green leaves 2 to 3 feet in length. The vivid coral spike has closely spaced bracts that are blue, mottled with purple. The petals are white and blue; berries are deep blue. |
