| Geyeri is an upright, spreading, woody-based evergreen with rooting stems. Produces hairy or hairless, fragrant, silvery gray-green leaves, which may be pinnate, 2-pinnate or entirely pinnate, all on the same plant. Bears solitary flowerheads in yellow or sometimes red or white ray florets, occasionally copper-tinted underneath. In general, this evergreen perennial may sometimes grow to be a sub-shrub. Grown primarily for their daisy-like red, yellow or orange flowers, this plant does best when grown in full sun in sandy, fertile soil. While plant is actively growing, water well and fertilize with monthly with a balanced fertilizer. During winter months, water should be minimal. |
