| Watsonia aletroides is a cormous perennial with 8 to 16 inch long leaves that are sword-shaped. Up to 12 orange-red flowers, 2 inches long, bloom on unbranched spikes from late winter to spring. Best planted in a climate with little or no frost. Protect with a dry winter mulch if there is frost. Rarely has problems with diseases or pests. |
