| Picea brewerana has a rather stiff, pyramidal growth habit in youth, but develops pendulous branches in age that have a striking curtain-like effect. The needle-like leaves are dark green above and gray-green on their undersides, the overall appearance is mildly blue-green. The cylindrical cones are purplish with rounded scales. Native to the Siskiyou Mountains of California and Oregon, at elevations aroung 7,000 feet. |
