| Often sold as Chrysanthemum paludosum. Coarse, leathery, gray-green leaves 5 inches long or shorter. Yellowish-white single flowers ( 3/4 to 1/14 inches across) and deeper yellow centers begin blooming in May, with largest show around early June, then continue sporadically until frost. Tolerant of many soils, but do require water in hot, sunny climates. Divide clumps every 2 years or establish plants from seed. Remove and discard spent flowers to prolong bloom period. |
