| This is a cormous perennial with leaves that are sword-shaped, to 24 inches long. Up to 25 bright orange to orange-red flowers, to 2 inches long, bloom on branched spikes from summer to autumn. Grown best in areas with little or no frost. Protect with a dry winter mulch if there is frost. Rarely has problems with diseases or pests. |
