| S. chamaedryoides is a woody, low-growing perennial that blooms in the late summer into beautiful deep blue flowers on 3/4 inch long scalloped mid to gray green leaves which are covered in fine hairs. Salvia can be planted in a sunny border, in a meadow or used for bedding and container plants. They grow best in light moderately fertile, moist but well drained soil in full sun to light shade. |
