| Tall, columnar, thick trunked evergreen reaching heights of 80 to 120 feet and widths of 15 to 20 feet. Ideal speciman for background in narrow spaces. Needles are long, grayish green with gray bands underneath and lie flat on the shoots. Cones are thick and cylindrical, and golden green before ripening to brown and releasing seeds. Performs best when given partial shade and ample water in well drained soil. |
