|Acer buergerinum is a rare maple in North America and Europe. One of the most difficult to propagate, its a spreading, deciduous tree with 3 1/2-inch dark green leaves above and blue green on the undersides. Blooms in yellow flowers. The cultivar, 'Nusatoriyama'is is very delicate and fragile and does not exceed 5 feet in height. The leaves are white in the spring, turning to delicate pink and cream.
