| Upright, slender annual with grayish-green, hairless, lance-shaped leaves, up to 2" long. Summer borne, loose clusters of dark magenta-pink flowers with white centers, to 1" across, are held on long stalks and make great cut flowers.
Grows to 20" tall and spreads 6". Easy to grow and often self sowing, if winter moisture is not excessive.
This delicate plant is at home in the woodland or rock garden and should be placed where it can be appreciated. Native to the Mediterranean. |
