| This spreading perennial, which forms clumps, has spoon-shaped, medium green leaves, up to 3 1/2 inches long. 'Beechwood' bears single, 2 inches wide, lavender flowerheads with rich yellow disk florets from early to mid summer. Grows to 10 inches tall and spreads 18 inches. Grow in full sun where soil is moderately fertile and well drained. Divide every few years to maintain vigor. This can be done in fall or very early spring. |
