| The cultivar, 'Antohi Romanian produces smooth peppers, 4 inches long, widely tapered, pale yellow ripening to red. Very early and high yield on upright plants. Sweet, full flavor. An heirloom variety, mature in 53 days.
C. annuum grows best if seeds are started indoors 8-10 weeks before last frost. Sow the seeds in sandy soil and give them warmth; night time temperatures should be above 62F. Transplant 12-16 inches apart. Likes a fertilizer treatment once a month. To keep compact, pinch leaves on young plants. Full sun produces best growth and fruiting results. |
