| Spreading deciduous shrub grown for its fragrant flowers throughout the summer. Panicles up to 4 inches of dense fragrant flowers are lilac to pink. Graceful, arching branches bear pointed silvery-green leaves to 10 inches long. Reaches up to 10 feet tall and about 15 feet wide. Ideal for attracting butterflies. Combines well with other perennials, especially daylilies and shasta daisies. This is one plant that thrives on severe pruning. |
