| Acer buergerinum is a rare maple in North America and Europe. One of the most difficult to propagate, its a spreading, deciduous tree with 3 1/2-inch dark green leaves above and blue-green on the undersides. Blooms in yellow flowers. The cultivar, 'Wako nishiki' is a dwarf cultivar with tiny, variegated white or light green leaves. Leaves on young shoots are usually larger. |
