( Showa No Sakae Snow Camellia )
| Distinctive and unusual low-growing evergreen shrub. Foliage is leathery in appearance, with semi-double baby pink flowers in fall. Excellent container plant. Regular watering with uniformly moist soil. This plant needs an acidic fertilizer in fall. Additional organic matter is always beneficial. Mulching is also beneficial. In climates with cool summers, prefers full sun. Partial shade is sufficient elsewhere. A northern or eastern exposure is ideal. |
