| Hostas are good garden plants, thriving in all soils from pure clay to boggy ground and they usually get bigger every year. They don't seem to suffer from any significant diseases but their enemy at times are slugs and snails.
The cultivar, 'Masquerade' is a small, spreading perennial with lance shaped creamy white leaves with green edges. Funnel shaped, lavender striped (purple inside) flowers with streaking towards the center on straight, leafy 12 inch stems in the midseason. Best in a pot until it is a mature plant. |
