| Primula capitata is a deciduous, short-lived perennial with lance-shaped, finely serrated, mealy leaves, to 6 inches long. Late in the season, white-mealy stalks bear flattened, round spikes of tubular, deep purple flowers, to 1/2 inches wide. Full sun or partial shade in humus-rich, well-drained, moist soil. Tolerates full sun if kept moist. 16 inches tall and wide. |
