| Named for its metallic greenish purple leaves in a basal rosette clump that are curled and wrinkled. Excellent, fast spreading semi-evergreen to evergreen ground cover. Reaches 6 inches tall and spreads 12 to 16 inches. Quickly forms a dense, lusterous mat, bearing deep blue or violet, sometimes white or pink, flowers in a spiked pyramid shape. Blooms from early spring to early summer. Able to withstand damp, shaded soil. |
